What is the National Pilates Certification Program?

• NPCP sets standards for professional competency necessary to safely and effectively teach the Pilates method to every body.

This looks like a big time commitment. How long do I have to complete my supplemental hours?

• Learning to teach Pilates is a huge commitment! We want our mentees to build the foundation of putting time and care into their learning the same way they will put that energy into preparing and teaching students.

I already take Pilates everyday. Do I need to complete all of the supplemental hours?

• Yes. Teaching hours, self practice hours, and observation hours are crucial to finding those breakthrough moments that will make you a great teacher.

I'm not around November 7, 8, 9. Can I learn virtually?

• The reformer course must be done in person so that we can ensure you are using equipment and attention is focused in the room. If these dates do not work for you please know we will be doing more trainings in the future! The mat and anatomy courses can be taken online via zoom, in real time. We do not record the courses.
• 

Will any anatomy be taught in the Mat Pilates course?

• Yes, basic anatomy that is imperative to teach mat Pilates will be taught. We do highly recommend the PAI Anatomy Course for greater detail.
